Cruise ship crack could be serious, say inspectors

An Australian-based P&O cruise ship forced to return to Auckland after earlier having a crack repaired may have more serious problems, according to maritime safety inspectors.

The 46,000 tonne vessel Pacific Sky was 30 hours into a Pacific cruise to Tonga when it turned back on Thursday night.
