Thousands of irate workers protest against port strike

Some 3,000 workers whose factories have been affected by the 20-day port strike protested outside Haifa Port yesterday.

Tempers ran high during the demonstration, which was declared illegal by the police. Some protesters tried to break into the port area, while one - the manager of Kitan's Dimona plant, Adi Livneh - was arrested then released an hour later ......
