Container prices up 39% as equipment shortages seen worsening

(SINGAPORE) A global box shortage and concurrent steel scarcity have pushed up the price of containers nearly 39 per cent as the container shipping industry enjoys almost unprecedented volume demand and vastly improved freight rates.
