Alarming decline in scrapping of ships

Feb 3: Scrapping of ships in the country has declined alarmingly due to increase in the prices of scrapped ships in the world market. Scrapped ships are not abundantly available now in the world market as before.

As a result 50 per cent of the shipyards situated along 20 miles along the coast of Sitakund thana from Faujderhat to Sitakund are remaining idle ......
