New Orleans Airport Reopens, Port Back In Operation

New Orleans awaited the reopening of its airport as well as the waterfront for the first time since Hurricane Katrina hit.

Using generator power, the airport reopened to commercial flights Tuesday for the first time since Hurricane Katrina devastated the region more than two weeks ago, and the port was back in operation, too, as New Orleans attempted to get up and running again ......
