The crocieristico group Carnival orders to Fincantieri a ship of 132.500 tsl for the fleet Coast and two of 125.000 tsl to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for AIDA



Costa Crociere, company of the group Carnival Corporation & plc, have ordered to Fincantieri the construction of a new cruise ship of 132.500 tons of tonnage that will be realized in the plant of the navalmeccanico group to Marghera. The unit, that it will have an ability to 4.928 passengers and will be equipped of 1.854 cabins, will be the greatest Italian cruise ship and the tenth ship ordered by Costa Crociere to Fincantieri in Italy in last the 10 years for a total investment of beyond five billions of euro.

Coast has specified that the order is subject to financing and that the investment represents a shipping cost total of about 150.000 euros for low bed. The new ship will be delivered in October of 2014 and will be an innovative evolution of the project of the class "developed Concord" integrating and improving the main characteristics of the last ships of success of the commissioning fleet Coast.
