This afternoon in Shanghai, the Italian company RINA classification and certification in China celebrated its 150 anniversary, which coincides with the unification of Italy, along with promoting the Consulate General of Italy in China and with the cooperation of the Confederation Italian Shipowners (Confitarma) a moment of confrontation between some Italian entrepreneurs of the world of shipping, and institutional and industrial players from different Chinese provinces.
Starring in the afternoon works were not only owners and entrepreneurs of both countries, but also members of the financial world that could explain how to promote international trade and investment. Founded in Genoa in 1861 to serve the needs of the maritime world, the Italian group has gradually expanded its fields of activity, becoming a multinational that operates with increasing success in China and surrounding territories.
RINA has opened its first office in China in 1997 and today has 120 employees in the group used the office in Shanghai, second in size only to the headquarters of Genoa, and a dozen others under those of the rest of the country.
In China, the Italian company has certified more than 300 companies in accordance with international certification schemes such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OH SAS 18001, SA 8000, ISO 27001 and the standards of the code of conduct.
