Puntualizzazione of the Harbour Authority of Trieste on the program of reconversion of the Ironworks of Servola



Also appreciating of the general purposes and the industrial contents, the Harbour Authority of Trieste does not share the proposal of sdemanializzazione included in the program of reconversion of the Ironworks of Servola, the iron and steel system of Trieste of the Severstal-Lucchini group in serious crisis, that Friuli Venice Julia to the labor organizations is introduced last week by the Region.

The Harbour Authority of Trieste has been declared "favorable and available to estimate - within an understanding to wide beam, according to law - an industrial plan and a program of activity elaborated from the subject third deputy to the action of reconversion, assisted from suitable and precise guarantees, finalized also to the increment of the harbour and industrial traffics, of the productivity of the section and the relative occupational levels. How much over - it has concluded - to the aims of the marine state property concession of the areas contiguous to those of properties of Servola Spa, in case demanded and necessary to the objective of total reconversion".
