Al fine to improve its performances under the environmental profile the Harbour Authority of Trieste has started an articulate project in order to arrive also to the certification Emas (Echo-Management and Scheme Audit), a voluntary instrument proposed from the European Community in order to estimate and to improve the environmental performances and to supply to the public and other subjects interested information on a corrected environmental management. This and the other initiatives of the harbour agency in order to realize "a more and more green" port have been to the center of the entitled encounter "the environmental objectives of the held port of Trieste" today inside of hydrodynamic headquarters in the Old Port of the giuliana city. The director of the marine Area protect of Miramare, Maurizio Spoto, has emphasized that "green and blue economy offers a development not only abstract, but concrete to the province of Trieste". "The Italian Chambers of Commerce, through the strategic lines connected to the economy of the sea - Antonio Paoletti has remembered in conclusion, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Trieste - are engaged in the development of distances of sustainability and environmental services to support of the harbour systems and the enterprises that operate in harbour within. In the margin of the convention, president Monassi has commented the sentence of the Regional administrative court of the Friuli Venice Julia that has rejected the resource introduced from Portocittà against the Harbour Authority for the cancellation of the convention which signed in 2010 for having in concession Old Port. "The sentences - it has declared - are applied, and as Harbour Authority we will totally apply it with great balance, therefore it seems me very well". The president has informed that on the ban for manifestations of interest for the Old Port in expiration on 23 July "several signallings have arrived and others will arrive some still".
