Confetra, the transport goods in Italy has recorded a timid resumption in first semester 2013



In the first semester of this year the transport goods in Italy has recorded light positive signs in all the fields made exception for the marine transport. General Confederation has evidenced Centro Studi Confetra (Italiana of the Transports and the Logistics) in its conjunctural note on the relative transport goods to the first half of 2013.

In particular, the transport on the road has marked a moderated resumption in terms of traffic, is for national section (+0.4%) that international (+0.2%); in terms of turnover the national section of the road haulage has marked +0.2%, while that international one has remained unchanged (+0.0%). These positive signs - it has specified the Confetra - seem contraddetti from the data of the highway traffic that continue to being negatives (- 3.7% regarding first semester 2012), even if the fall considerably is slowed down regarding the analogous survey precedence (- 7.6%). But the AISCAT, the association of the concessionary societies of freeways - Confetra has remembered - supply the data on the travels, not on the transported one: the crisis has evidently induced in outsourcers and carriers a process of optimization of cargos with limitation of the travels in vain, as it would turn out also from the sensitive decrease of passages in the alpine passes.

In increase they have turned out the data of the national couriers: +1.5% in the deliveries and +1.2% in the turnover.

In the marine transport +4.3% of the transport are recorded container: "a data - the president of Confetra, Nereo Marcucci has explained - strongly influenced from the good results of the transhipment of Gioia Tauro who moreover is in association with the momentary displacement of traffic from Port Saïd, whose activity is reduced because of the civil revolt". Negative instead the total course of the ro-ro that it has closed with -4,7% and of the bulk (- 11.3%) meaningfully conditioned - has specified the Confederation - from the contractions recorded in the port of Genoa.

Radical change of direction also in the aerial cargo (Goods Aviation) that the 2012 value has archived item the semester with a +0.5% (in the first semester was -6,8%), legacy to the discreet performances of the main ports of call (Milan Malpensa +0.5%, Roma Fiumicino +0.5% and Bergamo Orio al Serio +0.3%) but, above all, of the ports of call more little ones than Venice M. Pole (+11.4%) and of Bologna G. Marconi (+14.4%).

To notice - it has still found Confetra - as also in first semester 2013 they are continued the inexorable decrease of the rail shipment and the constant increase of the express courier in measures evidently not connected to the total course of economy (respective -7,4% and +3.8%).

Sul forehead of international shipments, is recorded positive signs even if of light entity (+0.8% is in those street ones, than in those aerial), with the exception of those marine (- 0.5%). The generalized slow down of the total economy - with inferior a medium increase BRIC to 5% - continues to weigh on the logistic field.
