In the first semester of this year the port of Ravenna has enlivened almost 12,3 million tons of goods, with an increment of +10.6% regarding the first half of 2013. Ravennate the Harbour Authority of the port of call has emphasized that "such given to confirmation the trend of 2014 and marks, for the first time in the history of the port of Ravenna, the overtaking on Venice, in terms of total handling".

In meaningful increase also the agricultural produced ones passed from 588 thousand to 856 thousand tons (+45.5%). The increase of the raw materials for the ceramics continues moreover that, with 219 thousand tons in more regarding the first six months of 2013, have recorded an increment pairs to +14.7%.

In the first six months of the 2014 has been the 1,567 ships arrived in port, 35 in more regarding the first half last year.

In the single month of june of the 2014 traffic has been almost two million tons, with a +2.1% on june 2013.
