The New Consortium of the port of Trapani has explained that on 31 March it was the first given established from the ministry within which they would be due to complete the necessary works to its realization but, seen the complexity of the structure and upon request of the Trapani society, in April the ministry has come to an agreement a short delay of the terms until on 15 May; therefore first for june, because of technical and bureaucratic difficulties, by the company are asked an ulterior delay, presuming as final deadline for the delivery on 31 August, but this time - it has specified the society - the ministry "has considered" the date of conclusion of the work of the new structure not more ulteriorly procrastinabile and - it has accused the president of the New Consortium of the port of Trapani, Andrea de Martino - "to pass from on 15 July it has quite suspended the control and vigilance activity veterinary of the PIF of Trapani in the old center of the Marine Station. Arranging, still, that the service could only resume when the director of the PIF of Palermo, "competent also for the activities of the PIF of Trapani", it would have verified the full completion of the realization of the new structure, let alone the possession of all sanitary requirement hygienic and the necessary equipments. And that, in order not to interrupt the commercial flow of the produced animals, the interested operators could themselves have moved in other national ports, which, for example, "the port of Palermo". By the date of suspension of the service - it has specified de Martino - the work in the new center of the Isolella dock is continued uninterruptedly and, in fact, today, they are completed.
