The project will be illustrated by the summits of the harbour Authorità of Livorno coadiuvati from the advisers of the Ocean Shipping Consultants, that they will explain in the detail which are the opportunities of development of the Leighorn port of call and which the performances that the port will be able to reach once realized the new terminal that will rise behind of the Tuscany Dock, side the west.

The Europe Platform, that it will increase the ability to traffic of the container of the port of Livorno and moreover will free useful spaces to other traffics, between which that of the rotabili, will cost about 800 million euros (comprised the equipment). Tuscany region, Government and Authorities have already allocated 450 million. With the European ban a private entrepreneur disposed looks for to finance the remaining 350.

The initiative, supported and promoted from the president of the Region Tuscany, Enrico Rossi, will see the participation of two vice-president of the European Parliament, David Sassoli and Antonio Tajani, of the responsibles of the Head office mobility and transports of the EU commission, and the Italian ambassador near the EU, Marco Peronaci.
