A school for technicians for the management and conduction of railway means has been born to Venice



Region of Veneto and Fondazione ITS Marco Polo has announced today the birth to Venice of a school for technicians for the management and conduction of railway means. The regional agency and the agency of formation of the port of Venice have explained that, graces to a public contribution of the MIUR and the Region of 112 thousand euros, which have been possible to institute the first Italian course for technicians of formed mobility also in order to acquire the qualifications necessary to carry out duties of safety that of future machinists for example.

The new course, that it is realized in collaboration with FerCargo, the association that groups 16 railway enterprises private active Italians in the transport goods, has a duration two-year-old with 944 hours of internship near transport enterprises whom they operate on national the railway infrastructure, 312 hours of theory, 288 hours of practice and 364 hours of laboratory.

The 23 boys, almost all recent graduates, that they participate to the course are following the lessons in order to reach the title of "advanced Technician for the management and conduction of railway means", that is a technician polyvalent equipped of European licence and certifications for machinist, maker, manovratore and verifier. The certifications will be released as a result of appropriate examination with Commission ANSF (National Agency for Safety of the Railroads) and, to February/March 2018, the boys will be ready to enter in the world of work thanks to the collaboration with primary companies of the field that have been engaged to assume all the graduate students.
