The most important boarded volumes than loaded on the ships directed to south were constituted by goods in container, for a total of 20,3 million tons (+14.2% on July 2016), from crude oil with 3,3 million tons (+331.1%), from minerals and metals with 2,7 million tons (+12.9%), from cereals with 2,5 million tons (- 33.5%) and from fuel oil with 2,0 million tons (+33.3%).

The greater boarded cargo volumes on the ships directed to north were constituted by goods in container with 20,3 million tons (+2.0%), from crude oil with 5,8 million tons (- 16.5%), from gasolines with 1,7 million tons (+3.8%), from diesel oils with 1,4 million tons (+9.8%), from which liquified natural gas with 1,3 million tons (- 18.7%), from producing in metal with 1,2 million tons (- 22.0%) and from oils vegetables with 1,0 million tons (+28.3%).

In the first seven months of the 2017 channel Egyptian it is crossed altogether by 9.949 ships, with an increase of +2.1% regarding 9.745 ships in the January-July period last year. The oil tankers have been 2,566 (+2.5%) and the ships of other type 7,383 (+2.0%).

The ships journeyed in the first seven months of this year in the channel transported a total of 514,2 million tons of goods (+10.3%), of which 269,1 million boarded tons on the ships directed to south (+20.3%) and 245,1 million tons on the ships directed to north (+1.1%).

The main boarded cargo volumes on the ships directed to south were constituted by goods containerized with 135,8 million tons (+13.6%), from cereals with 21,7 million tons (- 5.3%), from oil crude oil with 19,6 million tons (+95.4%), from fuel oil with 18,2 million tons (+66.6%) and from minerals and metals with 17,4 million tons (+11.3%).

Consisting transported volumes than the more loaded from the ships directed to north were constituted by goods in container with 135,6 million tons (- 0.2%), from crude oil with 41,8 million tons (+7.2%), from diesel oils with 10,1 million tons (13.1%), from which liquified natural gas with 9,7 million tons (- 15.2%), from gasolines with 8,8 million tons (- 16.7%), from producing in metal with 8,5 million tons (- 8.9%), from chemicals with 7,0 million tons (+12.9%), from oils vegetables with 6,2 million tons (+12.1%) and from carbons and coke with 5,2 million tons (+64.4%).
