"The situation of watery accessibility to Venice and Chioggia - it has evidenced the president of the AdSP, Pino Musolino - is by now emergenziale and the limitations taxes yesterday from the Harbour-office end, unfortunately, in order to hit mainly the traffic container at which the Authority it is heading strongly and that it represents the primary support for the exports of the Venetian industry and nordestina, as well as one of the more interesting fields for the attraction of investments in the picture of the new Via of the Silk".

"Today - it has specified Musolino - there are about 300 thousand cubic metres of sediments to dig in order to resolve the immediate problems of navigability of the Malamocco-Marghera, of which 70 thousand in order to only resolve the criticalities characterized from the recent decree of the Harbour-office. For these last mud, all of type not polluted, the bestowal sites already are characterized and the resources financial institutions are available so much so that we could realize the necessary works in about two months. Unfortunately - the president of the AdSP has denounced - we cannot move, not even on the front of the maintenance of the cases of overwhelmed where we have proposed to the Interregional Provveditorato to the Public works a urgent participation to our cargo already to september 2018, because the provisions lack and the necessary authorizations and these are of competence of other agencies".

Moreover the AdSP has rimarcato the urgency of "giving solution to the bureaucratic and normative knots that for maintenance block the implementation of a plan to mean and long term of the navigable ways inside of the Lagoon. Between these - it has specified the authority harbour - it turns out priority to define a protocol sediments updated (to the so-called "protocol mud"), to update the morphologic plan of the Lagoon, to characterize adapted sites of bestowal, to proceed with the maintenance of the cases of overwhelmed".

"In order to bring back to the previewed quota all the navigation channels in Lagoon - Musolino has explained - the necessity is estimated to dig about a million cubic metres. Meanwhile, we estimate that capacity of the Venetian sites of bestowal - comprising cases of overwhelmed, Pier Salts, Island of the Tresse and Vallone Moranzani - would pile to volumes pairs to about five million cubic metres. The Authority of Harbour System has already put to budget, in the short period, nine million euro for these participations, of which you are to Venice and three to Chioggia. The resources, therefore, do not lack, the problem is only to bureaucratic and autorizzativo level. We ask, therefore, to all the agencies that for law are held to take part to collaborate proattivamente for the release of this potentially dangerous situation for our economy and the future of our region".
