In the first half of 2022, the period in which the terminals the group's dockers have handled an equal container traffic to 66.3 million teu ( of 20 July 2022), with a slight decrease of -0.3% on the same period of 2021 that follows a period of 24 consecutive semesters of growth, the revenues of China Merchants Port Holdings Co. (CMPort) reached a record value of 6.51 billion Hong Kong dollars (829 million US dollars), with an increase +14.9% on the first half of last year. The profit operating amounted to 1.96 billion (-12.9%) and profit net to 5.56 billion Hong Kong dollars (+5.4%). In the first six months of this year the port terminals of the Hong Kong company also handled bulk traffic of 269.2 million of tons (-5.3%).
