Taiwan's Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation has ordered from the South Korean shipbuilding group Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) to build five 15,500 teu dual fuel container ships that can be fuelled with liquefied natural gas. The order has a total value of USD 927.9 million, with an investment of $185.6 million for each ship.
Currently, the Asian company's fleet is currently consists of 93 container carriers with a total capacity of 706,000 teu.
