Today the shipyard Meyer Turku delivered the
Icon of the Seas to the company Royal Caribbean International, a new cruise ship that, concluded the 900 days of its construction, will tomorrow sail from the Finnish plant headed to Cádiz, Spain, to carry out the latest lineup work in sight of its entry into service that will take place in January in Miami.
The Icon of the Seas , of 250,800 tons of gross tonnage, it is 365 meters long and can accommodate up to 5,610 passengers. The ship, which is the first of the company to be powered by liquefied natural gas, will be followed by two other new ships of the class inaugurated by Icon of the Seas which will be taken in delivery in 2025 and the following year.
