
The Regional Administrative Court for Liguria has
declared inadmissible the appeal filed by the British Med
Yacht Storage Limited v Port System Authority
of the Western Ligurian Sea relating to the granting of the concession
for a state-owned area in Vado Ligure, where the English company
He intended to create a nautical hub for large yachts. Med Yacht had
advanced its project in 2020 and the Ligurian Port Authority has
recalled that the documentation submitted had been
insufficient and administratively deficient making it possible to

Among the reasons indicated, the TAR considered the
appeal on the ground that the company Med Yacht Storage was
struck off the UK commercial register, thus losing
the legitimacy to continue the legal action. In addition, the same
Med Yachts did not contest the measure by which the Authority
Portuale has awarded the concession to Eurocraft Cantieri Navali in the
Schedule.
The port authority specified that, following the ruling, the
state concession in the name of Eurocraft Cantieri Navali remains
fully valid and operational and that the Port Authority is not subject to
compensation or other legal consequences.
