Today to Rome the apulian government, local institutions and the enterprises interested have undersigned the agreement for throw again of the port of Taranto, that he previews investments for about 190 million euros in works of protection of the port of call, environmental requalification and reconfiguration of the docks, with the objective to resolve the criticalities of infrastructural character of the port of call. The engagement financial is shared between government (25,7 million euros), Region Apulia (62,6 million euros), Harbour Authority of Taranto (92,1 million euros) and Taranto Container Spa Terminal (7,2 million euros).

GSI Logistic Srl, Hutchison Port Taranto.

All the parts signers have been engaged to complete the plan of the participations previewed within 24 months from the subscription of the agreement. Al fine to accelerate the overcoming of the problematic ones connected to the realization of the works, the president of the Harbour Authority of Taranto is named extraordinary commissioner, with the powers of which to I decree legislative 163/2006 ( on 20 February 2012).
