The port of Ravenna has archived item 2015 with a total of 24,7 million enlivened tons of goods, with an increase of +1.1% regarding the year precedence. The increment is generated by the progressive rise of the volumes dealt in the course of the year: after a first trimester concluded with a decrease of the -5,2% October-December is followed an increase of +2.1% in the two next trimesters and from +5,2% in the period.

The Harbour Authority of Ravenna has evidenced that the result achieved in 2015 "is sixth in the history of the port in terms of total traffic and best one from the crisis of 2009" and that "the data is still more meaningful if said how much from the Bank of Italy is considered on the regional economy, grown less of the previewed one, as evidence the decrease of goods (- 4%) that it has been recorded to the Airport of Bologna against a boom of passengers".

Last year the goods imported through the port ravennate are piled to 21,1 million tons (+3.2%) and those exported to 3,7 million tons (- 9.2%).

The increase is generated by minerals and the cereals, that tons have grown respective of +9.7% and +18.6% to 4,6 million and 1,8 million, that they have compensated the decrease of the -22,0% of the alimentary bulk and the feeds, come down to 2,0 million tons, and the bending of the coal and fertilizer volumes, that pairs respective to 1,4 million tons (- 7.0%) and 234 thousand tons (- 3.4% have been).

The liquid bulk has closed 2015 with a total of 4,2 million tons (- 4.5%), with an increment of +2.3% of the produced ones refined 1,7 million to tons that the reduction of the volumes of crude oil has partially compensated (87 thousand tons, -59,6%), of chemicals (896 thousand tons, -1,8%), of liquified gases (524 thousand tons, -1,5%) and of the other liquid bulk (973 thousand tons, -8,6%).

In the field of the passengers people (- 30.4%), of which 40 thousand crocieristi (- 8.9% are enlivened 43 thousand).
