Established in Cagliari the agency for the administration of work in port

The Port System Authority of the Sea of Sardinia has formally established the company K.A.L.Por.T. Srl - Karalis Agenzia per il Lavoro Portuale nel Transhipment, the agency for the administration of work in port and for retraining professional in which to bring together the workers of the enterprises of which Articles 16 and 18 of Law No 84/1994 operating in the sector of transhipment, as approved by the Management Committee of the institution at the beginning of March ( of 3 March 2022).

With the signing of the deed of incorporation, signed on Friday afternoon by the president of the AdSP, Massimo Deiana, at the notary's office Giua Marassi of Cagliari, Roberto Casini, expert in management and management consultant for companies and institutions and Carlo Sedda, accountant, both selected with public notice of the AdSP for the collection of applications, hire respectively the position of sole director and statutory auditor of K.A.L.Por.T.

The agency, with a share capital of 20 thousand euros entirely held by the AdSP, will be registered in the coming days on the register of companies and will have its registered office in Cagliari in the cruise terminal offices of Molo Ichnusa.

Recalling that the Agency will have a legal duration of 36 months and will be aimed at ensuring support to the professional placement of registered workers, the port authority specified that this path will pass through the vocational training, financed by the Sardinia Region with 1.4 millions of euros of European globalisation adjustment funds (EGF), the provision of work to undertakings authorised to carry out activities within the scope of competence in order to integrate the own staff, the provision of temporary work, to supplement of the existing workforce, to any undertaking authorised to carry out activities in the port area under the responsibility of the AdSP through the person authorized pursuant to Article 17 of Law 84/94. The AdSP has highlighted that, above all, with the constitution of the Agency guarantees a decent income and a constant update to all former workers employed in the sector containers, pending the hoped-for resumption of traffic in the compendium of the Canal Port of Cagliari.

The establishment of the new Port Employment Agency in the Transhipment was welcomed with satisfaction by Filt Cgil, initiative - underlined the national secretary of the union, Natale Colombo, who "is the result of the effort made by all, especially workers and organisations Union.
