    "Qu'Anvers cherche à coopérer dans ce projet, c'est une chose que nous considérons comme positive. Nous sommes d'ailleurs en faveur d'une coopération maximale entre ports du Delta. C'est une chose qui doit être explorée. Nous avons d'ailleurs entamé ce projet dans le cadre de contacts bilatéraux avec l'Entreprise portuaire de Rotterdam et nous nous sommes trouvés. Ce projet se place sous le chapitre de la société "Exploitatie Maastchappij Schelde Maas - ESM, une joint-venture à 50/50 entre le port de Rotterdam et Zeeland Seaport, où l'on fait preuve de confiance dans cette coopération. Du côté du port de Rotterdam, les réactions sont réalistes, quant à la réaction de l'environnement d'affaires de Rotterdam, nous n'en savons rien et ce n'est pas notre affaire", D.J.P. Bruinooge, président de l'association Zeeland Seaports, qui présentait vendredi dernier à la presse le projet WCT (Westerschelde Container Terminal), a fait preuve de confiance et de détermination en ce qui concerne son évolution.
