
Last month, container traffic in the Port of Long
Beach was 928,508 TEUs, down -1.7% on the
July 2025 when the record was set for this
month of the year. In July 2026, the Californian port of call
handled 467,461 full TEUs at landing (-0.1%), 104,843 full TEUs handled
at boarding (+14.8%) and 356,205 empty TEUs (-7.4%).
In the first seven months of this year, total traffic was
amounted to 5,758,086 TEUs, with an increase of +1.2% over the period
January-July 2025. Full containers upon landing are
amounted to 2,815,462 TEUs (+2.1%), full containers at embarkation at
720,812 TEUs (+11.3%) and empty containers at 2,221,818 TEUs (-2.8%).
