the University of Genoa and ABB has renewed the collaboration agreement



The University of Genoa and Helvetic group ABB has decided to confirm and to strengthen the started relationships of collaboration from 2008 in the field of the planning, the development and the sustainable productions, with the objective to improve the quality of the formative processes and of search of both the parts and to favor the spread of the enterprise culture. The agreement is signed by Giacomo Deferrari, university chancellor of the University of the capital of Liguria, and by Matteo Marini, managing director of ABB Spa, in the center of the School Polytechnic of Cambiaso Villa.

As in the precedence edition, the convention sets the objectives to carry out searches of common interest and to supply high formation in several technical-scientific fields: ingegneristiche technologies applied to the system electrical engineering and, instruments and methodologies for the reduction of the environmental impact, for the increment of the performances and the technical and economic sustainability, instruments and methodologies of monitoring on-line of the diagnostic quality and of the produced ones and the production processes.

Also in future the collaboration between ABB and University of Genoa will realize through a pluralità of instruments and activities already experienced: prizes, scholarships, seminaries, PhDs, master, refresher course. Moreover projects for the use of new technologies of communication in the formative processes will be developed. The joint participations to programs of international national search and formation will continue also, so as contracts of search, the laboratories kinsmen, the activation of operating within the national health service chairs, the promotion of the imprenditoria of young graduates/PhDs.

In the solo the 2013 percentage of entered new-graduated new-graduates and in ABB Italy has been of 44%. We have up to here collaborated with 30 university, five abroad and 25 in our Country. For us 2013 have been a year record with 37 deposited patents.
