The EU co-finances a project for the development of the Freeways of the Sea between Civitavecchia and Barcelona



The port of Civitavecchia will benefit of a contribution unsecured of 2,2 million euros of the European Union in the picture of the project "BClink: Future MOS for the" that it previews to integrate the logistic chains of the Italian port and that of Barcelona in the within of the Freeways of the Sea. The EU commission, inside of call CEF Transport "Blending" of 2017, in fact has established to co-finance the project that has a total value of beyond 21 million euros and is the only one subsidized from the EU in the priority of the Freeways of the Sea.

The project is selected in order to have known to evidence the European added value thanks to services and sets in action in support of mobility of people and goods and to activity times to improve the environmental performances.

The project "BClink: Future MOS for the" are articulated in two phases. The first, that the next January will be started in order to conclude to December 2019 for a value total of 7,1 million euros, regards the completion of the paint-brush parallel to pier 27-28 of the port of Civitavecchia, thanks to which the traffic you ferry will be transferred in the new dedicated area, in the optical to separate the marine traffics radically, producing important effects in terms of reduction of the congestion, it is side-earth that side-sea.
