Started a project for the realization of 1.350 certifyd pits and services for the haulers



An Italian consortium has introduced the project "Parking Areas implementing Safety and Security FOR (4) CORE Network corridors in ITALY (PASS4CORE)" face to widen the offer of areas pause for the transport on rubber and to return the pits sure and certifyd that it is approved of formally on 16 July and it will be financed for 20% of the infrastructural participations from the EU with 5,5 million euros, to which will join 21,5 million euros allocated from the protagonists of the initiative.

Front man of the consortium is A4 Trading, while between the partner A4 Trading and CAV are concessionary highway (, Venetian Highway Concessions), to interpose (ZAI Interporto Quadrante Europa Consortium to you of Verona, Interporto Padua, Cepim Interporto of Parma, Interporto Centro Italia Orte, Interporto Toscano Vespucci of Livorno), an airport (SEA Limited company Airport Exercises) and private operators (Cooperative Door Padua Baggages, Constructions San Michele and GRIM). Institutional partner is the Ministry of Infrastructures and the Transports through the Central Committee of White Autotrasportatori and RAM Logistica Infrastrutture and Trasporti Spa.

With of the activities previewed from the PASS4CORE they will contribute to realize about 1.350 parkings for heavy means (about fifth of the 7,000 previewed in Europe) in 13 nevralgici points of the logistics, requalifying beyond 300.000 square metres of areas dedicated for this purpose and for which the defined European standards from Esporg will be obtained the certification of "Safe and Secure Truck Park" second, the European Secure Parking Organisation. The initiatives, moreover, will be able to benefit of a guided combined effort from the Ministry of Infrastructures and the Transports that, besides to coordinate the development of such net, will take care to realize an instrument of (app/portal) dedicated to the total management of the relative information to the offer of stalls of this genre for the haulers.

The project, that it has already formally had beginning in spring 2020, is previewed is concluded in 2023, when with of the promised stalls they will be realized and operating, even if over the coming years the single participations will be completed in gradual way.

"Thanks to the participation which co-financed from program CEF Transport with 5,5 million euros - the only administrator of RAM Logistica, Infrastructures has explained and Transports, Ennio Cascetta - they will be activated beyond 27 million euros of investments infrastructural in favor of the field of the road haulage, with important reflected on positive the conditions of job and fallen back in terms of the greater safety of drivers and means. RAM, in quality of implementing leotard of the MIT, will put on own competences in order to supply all the support necessary to the other partner and to guarantee the good resolution of the project".
