Nei primi nove mesi di quest'anno il porto di Hong Kong ha movimentato 16.389.000 teu (+9%)
Il traffico delle merci è ammontato complessivamente a 165,9 milioni di tonnellate (+9%)

Nel terzo trimestre di quest'anno il porto di Hong Kong ha movimentato complessivamente 55,1 milioni di tonnellate di merci, con una progressione del 6% rispetto al corrispondente periodo del 2003. Le importazioni sono aumentate del 6% a 33,6 milioni di tonnellate, mentre le esportazioni sono cresciute del 6% a 21,5 milioni di tonnellate.
La movimentazione container - secondo i dati di traffico definitivi diffusi dall'Hong Kong Census and Statistics Department - è stata pari a 5.783.000 teu, con un incremento del 9% rispetto al terzo trimestre dello scorso anno. I container pieni sono cresciuti del 9% a 4,6 milioni di teu; i container vuoti sono aumentati del 10% a 1,2 milioni di teu. Gli sbarchi e gli imbarchi di container pieni sono aumentati rispettivamente del 16% e del 4% a 2,2 milioni e 2,4 milioni di teu.
Nei primi nove mesi di quest'anno il porto di Hong Kong ha totalizzato un traffico di 165,9 milioni di tonnellate di merci, con un incremento del 9% rispetto allo stesso periodo del 2003. Le importazioni e le esportazioni sono aumentate rispettivamente dell'8% a 102,2 milioni di tonnellate e del 10% a 63,7 milioni di tonnellate.
Nel periodo gennaio-settembre del 2004 la movimentazione container è stata pari a 16.389.000 teu, con una crescita del 9%. I container pieni sono aumentati del 10% a 13,4 milioni di teu, quelli vuoti sono aumentati del 3% a 3,0 milioni di teu. Le importazioni ed esportazioni di container pieni sono cresciute rispettivamente del 15% e del 6% a 6,4 milioni e 7,0 milioni di teu.
