The project, for which a total investment of about 46,75 billion is estimated rupees (beyond a billion of dollars), previews the creation of a yard of construction and naval repair and of a container terminal on a harbour area of about 350 hectares.

The harbour terminal will have a line of dock of 1.710 meters and will be able to enliven 1,8 million container per year teu. The terminal will become operating the next January and initially it will have of two docks of 350 linear meters each, an area of 20 hectares and will be able to enliven 1,2 million teu.

That of Kattupalli will be the first operated harbour terminal from group ICTSI in India.
