The Swedish group Greencarrier will expand its presence in the United Kingdom had signed an agreement to acquire the company PTS Logistics UK Ltd., which - as expected - will be implemented by the end of next month.
The PTS UK, which will be renamed Greencarrier PTS Ltd. and will maintain its current management, based in Ipswich, about 20 km from the port of Felixstowe, offices and warehouses and also to Immingham. The company was founded in 1980 and has a fleet of 17 vehicles and over 100 trailers.
"Greencarrier - said the CEO of International Greencarrier, Peter Nevhagen - has 300 employees working in 26 offices in nine countries and now we will have two other offices in the United Kingdom, Ipswich and Immingham, where PTS has a total of about 40 employees.
"Greencarrier - said the managing director of PTS, Robert Gaunt - will allow us access to greater resources and management skills and of course a bigger market, especially in the Nordic countries and the Baltic States. With a population of over 60 million people in the UK operates a substantial trade with these countries and we expect our share of this market will grow rapidly over the next few years. "
