The Finnish Wärtsilä bought Cedervall, Swedish company that produces seals and bearing systems for propeller shafts and motor vessels, and has subsidiaries in Spain, China and Singapore and operations in Sweden, China and Spain. Cedervall in 2010, which has 211 employees, recorded net sales of 344 million Swedish kronor (39 million). According to forecasts, the acquisition will be completed during the third quarter of this year.
