The traffic of the bulk sand banks has been of 154 thousand tons (+3.9%) to which tons of other bulk and producing iron and steel enlivened in industrial section (- 16.7% join to other 237 thousand). The other liquid bulk is piled to 43 thousand tons (- 42.8%), of which 10 thousand tons of oils vegetables and wine (- 62.4%) and 32 thousand tons of chemicals (- 31.2%).

The reduction of the traffic of the passengers has been emphasized that last month has attested to 345 thousand unit (- 20.5%), of which 277 thousand fleeting of the ferries (- crocieristi 21.6%) and 68 thousand (- 15.4%).

In the first semester of the 2011 port of Genoa it has enlivened in total 26,25 million tons of goods, with a progression of 4.1% regarding the first six months last year. In the field of the goods several the traffic has been of 13,66 million tons (+5.6%), of which 9,34 million containerized tons of goods (+7.1%) and 4,32 million conventional tons of goods (+2.6%). Handling of the container has been pairs to 916.774 teu (+6.6%).
