In the third trimester of this year the traffic in the port of Rotterdam has grown of 3%



In the first nine months of the 2011 traffic of the goods in the port of Rotterdam it has recorded an light increment attesting itself to 326,8 million tons, with an increase of the 1.7% regarding 321,5 million tons in the correspondent period last year. The traffic to the disembarkation is piled to 233,2 million tons (+2.0%) and that to the boarding to 93,6 million tons (+0.9%).

In the field of the container the traffic has been altogether of 93,2 million tons (+10.5%) and handling of the container which counted in unit from 20 feet (teu) has been pairs to about nine million teu (+8%). The other goods several has totaled 19,3 million tons (+8.3%), of which 13,2 million tons of rotabili (+2.4%) and 6,1 million general tons of other goods (+23.6%).

The traffic of the bulk sand banks has grown of 1.1% to a total of 65,6 million tons, of which 29,4 million tons of iron mineral and 5.9% scrap (-), 19,3 million tons of coal (+3.1%), 7,2 million tons of agricultural bulk (+16.8%) and 9,7 million tons of other bulk sand banks (+10.4%).

In the field of the liquid bulk tons (- 3.7%), of which 70,6 million tons of crude oil (- 4.5% are enlivened 148,7 million), 53,9 million tons of producing oil (- 4.8%), 401 thousand tons of natural gas which liquified (0%) and 23,8 million tons of other liquid bulk (- 0.2%).

In the solo third trimester of this year the Dutch port has enlivened altogether 111,9 million tons of goods, with an increase of 2.9% on the third trimester of 2010. The goods in container has totaled 31,4 million tons (+7.1%) and the other goods several 6,4 million tons (+9.4%), of which 4,4 million tons of rotabili (+12.1%) and 1,9 million tons of other goods (+2.7%). The bulk sand banks is piled to 22,5 million tons (- 2.5%) and the liquid bulk to 51,6 million tons (+3.1%).
