Nel corso della decima assemblea annuale di ESPO si discuterà di cooperazione e di politica per i porti

L'assemblea annuale per il 2013 dell'European Sea Ports Organisation (ESPO) sarà incentrata sui temi della cooperazione e della politica per i porti. L'evento si terrà il 30 e 31 maggio prossimi a Varna ed è organizzato in collaborazione con la Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company.

Il tema della cooperazione - ha spiegato l'associazione dei porti europei - darà occasione di discutere in che modo le Autorità Portuali, gli operatori e le parti interessate, lavorando assieme, possono favorire lo sviluppo e migliorare le prestazioni del settore portuale. Saranno prese in esame anche questioni specifiche come l'integrazione dei porti nei corridoi infrastrutturali, il marketing e la promozione delle regioni portuali nonché le strategie intercontinentali delle Autorità Portuali.

Nel corso della decima assemblea annuale di ESPO verranno anche presi in esame, come di consueto, gli sviluppi della politica dell'Unione Europea per i porti. Se tutto va secondo le previsioni - ha sottolineato l'associazione - la conferenza di quest'anno dell'ESPO potrebbe costituire la prima piattaforma in cui il settore discuterà le nuove proposte della Commissione Europea in materia di accesso al mercato e di trasparenza che dovrebbero essere pubblicate nei prossimi mesi. Prima della conferenza si svolgerà un seminario sulla cooperazione portuale regionale nel Mar Nero.
