In the 2013 logistic group Helvetic Kuehne + Nagel has recorded an improvement of 607 million franchi clearly Swiss the economic performances having had totaled a profit (500 million euros) on revenues for 20,9 billion franchi Swiss, with increments respective of +23% and +1% on the exercise anniversary precedence. EBITDA and EBIT are piled respective to 962 million franchi Swiss (+12%) and 761 million franchi Swiss (+20%).

Last year in the single segment of marine shipments the Swiss group has transported cargo volumes pairs to 3,6 million container teu, with a progression of +3% on 2012. Such activity has generated 9,0 billion franchi almost Swiss revenues in order (- 1%), an EBITDA of 408 million franchi Swiss (- 2%) and an operating result of 384 million franchi Swiss (- 2%). In the single segment of air shipments the enlivened volumes are piled to 1,1 million tons of cargos, with an increase of +4% on 2012. In the field of the aerial transport the revenues have been attested 4,1 billion franchi Swiss (to +2%), the EBITDA to 247 million franchi Swiss (+51%) and the EBIT to 222 million franchi Swiss (+61%). The street and railway shipment activities operated by Kuehne + Nagel have generated Swiss revenues for 2,8 billion franchi (- 3%), an EBITDA of 33 million franchi Swiss (+8%) and a EBIT of Swiss sign negative for -8 million franchi respect to operating liabilities of -16 million franchi Swiss in 2012. In the branch Contract Logistics revenues for beyond 4,2 billion franchi Swiss are produced (+4%), an EBITDA of 191 million franchi Swiss (+27%) and a EBIT of 104 million franchi Swiss (+89%).

Concentrating itself on a selective increase in marine shipments we are successful to maintain the stable margins in spite of the elevated volatility of the hires. The performance of the new strategy in the terrestrial transport also has lead to an improvement of the profit.
