Restored the full railway operativity to the Rail Hub of Melzo



By yesterday night completely the railway activity of the Rail is restored Hub of Melzo and Rail Hub Milan Spa, the new company controlled from the Sogemar of the group Contship Italy that manages 1°th January from the operativity of the terminal near of Milan, has announced that from today it can operate the trains in income and expenditure without more some limit than time slot. The company has remembered that such limits were introduced by Italian Railway Net (RFI) as a result of the floodings of halves November that had damaged irrimediabilmente the local monitoring station. The complete restoration of the operativity has happened graces to a new operating computerized central apparatus realized and returned in single three months.

The society has announced moreover that they proceed as from program the work of development of the terminal, with the inauguration of the new area of 100.000 square metres previewed to April. Four new internal railroads from 750 meters length everyone are already operating, while they are in phase of completion the asphalting and fence works. In the new area of the terminal new technologies are introduced also for use it of energy from renewable source that will contribute to ulteriorly diminish the environmental impact of this strategic infrastructure for the Lombardic and harbour logistic system.
