The objective is that is prefix the partner of project SPATA (System of Automatic Profilazione of means of transport in harbour Area) and that it has lead to the development of an innovative system based on technology laser scanner that finds the profiles of means: placed with the income of the harbour areas, the system allows to have indications in real time on the vehicles that enter and their cargos. The project is co-financed by the Independent Region Friuli Venice Julia in the within of POR FESR 2014-2020 and is realized by Comark Srl, company specialized in the field of the monitoring of the traffic and the systems for parkings, University of Udine and Srl and-laser, truth which installed to Friuli Innovation from the 2007 that it offers produced and services legacies to the remote sensing of the territory and the atmosphere. The initiative has developed within Friuli Innovation that, in quality of enterprise accelerator, has got in touch Comark with its whom installed and-laser and the associate University of Udine. Friuli Innovation also has taken care of the activities of progettuale coordination, spread and spreading of the results of project SPATA.
The partner of the project has evidenced numerous the benefits of the system developed for the managers of the ports: from a reduction of the number of manual operations of verification of means to the availability of information statistics on the activity of the port, until a more efficient management of the boarding of means and the goods.
The activities of SPATA experimentation have been carried out near the port of Trieste, whose collaboration has afforded to place the system in the inlet area of means in port. In this way the Authority of Harbour System has been able to in transit receive in real time the data of the vehicles and, in a second time, to elaborate analysis statistics on the harbour activities.
