Icelandic maritime and logistics group Eimskip has closed the second quarter of this year with record revenues of 283.1 million euro, with an increase of +34.1% on the corresponding period of 2021, of which 172.9 million generated by services liners operated by the group (+36.0%) and 110.2 million from shipping activities (+31.2%). EBITDA and operating profit amounted to EUR 44.7 million respectively (+129.6%) and 29.8 million euros (+311.3%), with contributions of 33.6 million (+57.1%) and 20.5 million (+88.8%) from maritime services and -78.2 million (-1,041.8%) and 9.3 million (+40.8%) from services Logistical. Net profit amounted to EUR 24.9 million euro (+698.7%), of which 16.9 million generated by maritime services (+88.8%) and 8.0 million from logistics services (+82.4%).
