In the second quarter of this year, the three main airlines Taiwan's shipping companies have recorded in every month of the period a year-over-year increase in revenues after four consecutive quarters of decrease. Throughout the period April-June 2026 the revenues of the Evergreen Marine Corporation amounted to 105.2 billion Taiwanese dollars (3.3 billion of US dollars), with a growth of +21.6% on the second quarter last year. Equally marked was the increase in the revenues of the Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation who totaled 45.9 billion Taiwan dollars (+18.8%) as well as that of the revenues of Wan Hai Lines amounted to 42.9 billion (+23.1%).

In the first half of 2026, Evergreen's revenues are 191.7 billion Taiwanese dollars, with a decrease -2.4% on the first half of last year. Half-year revenues of the Yang Ming, on the other hand, recorded an increase of +0.5% rising to 84.6 billion and revenues were also up WHL half-year results, having risen by +6.4% to 76.5 billion Taiwan dollars.
