
In the second trimester of the 2026 the crocieristico group American Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH) has recorded revenues record for this period of the year that are piled to 2,64 billion dollars, in increase of +4.9% on the second trimester last year. The only revenues deriving from the sale of the cruises have been attested to 1,73 billion, value that represents an increase of +1.2% and the new record for the period April-June, while the revenues generated from the sales on board of the ships, with 910,7 million dollars (+12.6%), have marked the new record absolute quarterly.
The quarterly operating costs have recorded a rise more accentuated than +8.9% having been pairs to 1,59 billion, increase that has been determined mainly from the increase of the cost of the fuel (219.4 million, +39.4%), that in the second trimester of 2026 has been pairs to 888 dollars/tonn regarding 659 dollars/tonn in the same period of 2025, and from the increase of the value of the pays (394.5 million,).
In the second trimester of this year the value of the gross operating margin, which has reached a record share for this period, has been of 668,0 million (+30.7%), while that of the operating profit has been of 363,3 million (-14.3%). The net profit was 222.5 million dollars, with an increase of +642.0% compared to 30.0 million in the second quarter of 2025 when the result had been weighted by extraordinary costs related to the debt.
In the quarter April-June of 2026 the ships of the group NCLH have boarded 907 thousand passengers (+22.8%), number that is the highest ever. The quarterly data of passenger cruise days, or the number of passengers transported for the period multiplied by the number of days of their respective cruise, has been of more than 6.7 million units (+7.3%), which is the highest for this quarter of the year.
Also in the first semester of 2026 the group has established own new historical record of the number of passengers boarded on the ships of the fleet in a semester that has been of almost 1,8 million people, with an increase of +25.6% on the first half of 2025 to which has contributed the entry into service last year of the new ship Oceania Allura of the brand Oceania Cruises and the new ship Norwegian Aqua of the brand Norwegian Cruise Line and last spring of the new ship Norwegian Moon by Norwegian Cruise Line.
Also in the first semester of the 2026 group NCLH has totaled revenues record for this period of the year that are results pairs to 4,97 billion dollars (+7.0%), of which 3,27 billion generated from the sale of the cruises (+4.6%), value that constitutes the new peak for this period of the year, and 1,70 billion produced from the sales on board of the ships (+12.0%), value that represents the new absolute semi-annual record. Gross operating margin stood at 1,20 billion dollars (+30.9%), operating profit at 596.3 million (-4.6%) and net profit at 327.2 million compared to a net loss of -10.3 million dollars in the first half of 2025.
NCLH has announced today that the current level of bookings for the scheduled cruises in the next 12 months remains under the optimal level because of the minor question for the brand Norwegian Cruise Line linked - it has specified the group - to specific operational issues of the company, as well as of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
