After four quarters of decline, in the first quarter of the of the 2026 tax year, a period that ended on 30 June, the revenues of the shipping company Ocean Network Express (ONE) have recorded a increase of +12% having amounted to 4.54 billion dollars compared to €4.05 billion in the corresponding period of the year previous. Quarterly revenue growth was driven by the increase in the average value of freight rates that in the last quarter April-June was 1,300 dollars/TEU (+8.4%). In the ONE's fleet transported containerized cargo for a total of almost 3.3 million TEUs (+2.9%), of which 969 thousand transported on Asia-North America routes (+9.0%), 769 thousand on Asia-Europe (+9.4%), 738 thousand on intra-Asian routes (-11.6%) and 781 thousand TEUs on other world routes (+5.7%).

Based on the results of the quarter, the Singaporean company revised upwards its guidance for the full fiscal year 2026, with a net profit that is now expected to be 900 million of dollars compared to the previous forecast of 300 million (in fiscal 2025 net profit was 338 million).

As of June 30, ONE's fleet numbered 284 ships for a total capacity of 2,260,498 TEUs. On the date the orderbook, including long-term rental units, counted 53 ships under construction, including seven with delivery still scheduled by the end of the current fiscal year.
