
A few days after boarding a ship off the coast
of Somalia took place on Monday, today the British United
Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has announced that it has
received a report of an accident that occurred 136 miles away
east of Al Mukalla, Yemen, where a tanker
transmitted a distress signal warning that she had been
approached by a boat while sailing west in the Gulf
of Aden. The UKMTO said it had subsequently received
confirms that the tanker was boarded by six people
who have taken control of the ship and are
heading towards Somalia.
