Dar Ports Bosses Take Owners of Wrecks to Court

THE TANZANIA Harbours Authority has moved to court in search of a legal solution to the long-standing problem of the abandoned marine wrecks that litter Dar-es-Salaam Port.

The Authority has lodged a civil suit asking the Kisutu Resident Magistrate to legally bind wreck owners to effect their removal, including meeting the costs involved. ......
