11 Companies Buy Crude Oil From Reserve

The Energy Department sold 30 million barrels of crude oil yesterday from the country's Strategic Petroleum Reserve to 11 companies, defying predictions that refiners might boycott the sale and buoying a White House campaign to replenish low stocks of heating fuel in the Northeast.
