Two ships grounded as gale force winds, heavy rains batter Cape Town

CAPE TOWN, South Africa (AP) -- Fierce winds wreaked havoc in this coastal city Wednesday, forcing emergency evacuation of two ships, damaging scores of buildings, tearing down power lines and uprooting trees.
