The Union Ministry of Shipping has issued a notification constituting a National Shipping Board with Mr V. K. Khanna, Member of Parliament (MP), as its Chairman with immediate effect. The Board has been constituted under Section 4 of the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958, read with the National Shipping Board Rules, 1960.
