Plain sailing for overseas majority shares in ports

China has flung its doors wide open for overseas investors, including those from Hong Kong, to take majority shares in the promising container terminal businesses, said an official with the Ministry of Transport.
The central government used to ban foreign investors from taking majority shares in a dock company, with only a few exceptions.
