Ships storing spent nuke fuel pose greater danger than mothballed subs

Corrosion is thinning the hulls of 39 Russian vessels that hold tons of spent nuclear fuel off the country's coast, and the risk of pollution from possible spills is even greater than from the scores of mothballed nuclear submarines, a Russian official said Monday.
