Container throughput recorded by the twin Sharjah ports at Khor Fakkan and Mina Khalid jumped 15.95 per cent in 2002 to total 1.39 million TEU, as per data issued by Gulftainer Co Ltd, which manages the ports on behalf of Sharjah Ports Authority.
